They look at all those billions and only see the dollar sign. I saw a rep from the Petroleum Producers Association a couple weeks ago. She had data showing the oil companies profit is about in line with most of industrial America. After all is said and done, salaries, equipment, pensions and all normal expenses, the percent of profit is somewhere in the area of 7%. I don't call that "windfall".
