Yikes! you scare me. 1. Could we at least keep Ohio & Penn State? Sure. Just have tuition and donations cover the costs. 2. I'm not sure what you're talking about. Google it. 3. I guess you never plan on injuring yourself, getting old or getting sick. I do plan on it. I have insurance, an IRA, a 401k, and spend within a budget. 4. Can you also include knowing the 10 Commandments? That's the best idea you have ever had!! 5. We do...it's called withholding tax, it's on our pay stub every pay period. Would see more of an eye opening effect with the PAIN of actually writing a check for the bill. It hurts to pay for gas and electricity now, imagine the pain with writing a check to the IRS. 6. What private school did you attend? I think I may want to report them to the Feds. At least I didn't force you to pay for my education. I pay lots of taxes now. I'd like to add a 7th suggestion: 7. can posters on this thread pay a fee to be members of SI instead of freeloading? After all, you should practice what you preach. If government didn't take half of what I earn, then maybe I would consider your suggestion. That being said, I'm not freeloading off the taxpayer for this service and SI seems to think it's worth while otherwise they wouldn't do it. FREE MARKET. Tim Tim, you seem like a nice guy, but so was Karl Marx.
