Lane3, I'm really sorry to hear about your experience. I find it offensive when physicians don't take the time or brush people off. All this technology & innovation & hubris and it really boils down to the quaint idea of bedside manners. I wish they would drill Peabody's maxim into every medical student - "For the secret of the care of the patient is in caring for the patient" It is so simple and so profound, it's mind boggling. You can pick out the bad apples in a minute using that litmus test. Nathan
