It could just as easily have been any group. Your allegations are false, as far as can be determined by available information. Allegations that the group is racist have come from illegals trying to deflect attention away from their illegal activities, not just border crossings but a massive wave of gang and cartel related crime. The minutemen group has answered these allegations many times and they have been shown to be false. I don't doubt there are some racists attracted to the group, as there are in every group but that isn't the nature of the group or its operations... where as, its accusers are clearly racists.
