But the real issue for me is his policies and proposals.

Don't get me wrong -- these are a huge issue for me as well.

I could blow off the Ayres relationship -- were it a "one-time" introduction or meeting, just paths crossing as politicians are apt to have happen. Serving on the same BOD doesn't really bother me.

But the JDLR factor starts to take off a bit. Ayres and Obama sit on this BOD of the Woods Fund of Chicago. Which provided grants to the Arab American Action Network (AAAN) of some $75K, the cofounders of which (Rashid and Mona Khalidi) who previously worked for the PLO, of course, a terrorist organization. The plot thickens.

Khalidi, having these terrorist ties, hosted a fundraiser for Obama and has expressed his support for him because of Obama's "sympathy" for the Palestinian cause and because he supports "talks with Iran".

Then, there is the connection with Tony Rezko, who also has terrorist relationships. Then, there is the endorsement from Hamas, which has a significant terrorists presence not only in the ME, but in the United States, as well.

I'm not much on conspiracy theories, but at some point all these terrorist connections start to pile up. You really have to question whether his loyalty to the United States is adequate for a man who is being considered for the presidency.

I think the Left is making a huge mistake with this guy. Charismatic though he may be, they are setting themselves up for another defeat by running an extremist, IMO.

Of course Obama has quite a few other connections with people with a certain JDLR factor, that are far closer than his connection with Ayers, so you get an overall pattern of negative associations.

I can understand how it would make you very uncomfortable......Obama hasn't committed a crime, taking tainted money nor spread his legs wide in a john and tapped.
