Sure, since Bill Clinton started stealing his opponents platforms, claiming them as his own to get elected, then abandoning them, the Dems all follow suit.

The democrat who won in Mississippi was against the rightwing policies and the GOP spent millions on smear ads trying to tie him to Reverend Wright. Not only didn't it work, it turned off a lot of good southern people who are finally realizing the fat cats in the GOP are not their friends. In fact, southern and rural Americans have suffered more than anyone under Bush-Cheney-McCain's corrupt policies.

Most democrats are for gun rights, just not for military assault weapons and arsenals in the hands of militant anti-government rightwing extremist groups. You should be against that too.

Many dems from conservative districts are also anti womens reproductive rights. They are wrong, about this, but that's their choice. Many Repubs including McCain and the entire Bush family (privately) are pro-choice and think religious rightists who demonize womens rights are backward idiots who must be pandered to to trick them out of their votes.
