That's how we ended up with the current three front-runners. McCain is the "maverick moderate." Hillary is the "born-again moderate" depending on which state she's campaigning in at the moment. Obama sure sounds like a "moderate." There is no consensus on national priorities. What is it? Health care? Economy? The deficit? Environment? Terrorism? Limited government?
