"Still can't imagine any American airliner ever getting hijacked anymore. That poor bastard Richard Reed, a.k.a. "The Shoe Bomber" was jumped by eight passengers, wasn't he?" The government really didn't even need to do what it did for airlines. Just to make sure the cockpit doors were secure would have been enough. American air passengers would have taken care of any problems in the cabin, now that they know they will be crashed into buildings. Another over-reaction, but not nearly as bad as Iraq.
