I would find that kind of behavior to be abhorrent, if I saw it done in front of my neighbors.

Shouldn't these people just leave if they don't respect Americans? I assume they aren't Americans from your post. I was a Marine on a Med Cruise in 1970. There was this friggin idiot named Pasquale. He called people in other countries foreigners. Even in Italy the home of his ancestors. I was young, but understood the offensive nature of his attitude. I took care of Pasquale eventually <g> However, if someone here in the US has no respect for us, I feel it is appropriate tha the person leave or at least keep his feelings to his/her self. The idiot who wants to insult a culture on their own turf is offering an offensive gesture and should be treated by the home citizens appropriately. You just try that in another country. Damn, just try that in the wrong neighborhood. We don't or we shouldn't offer protections to abusive and arrogant people. However the "speech" is offered, one is responsible for the same. If they don't like it, exit!
