Well certainly he is for late term and infanticide (partial birth) which is nothing more than forcing a late term breach delivery and killing the child by inserting an instrument through the underside of his/her skull and destroying the brain while just the top of the head is within the canal. Semantics. How does that provide for "the health of the mother" while that is the most stressful type of birth and since the child is out, why kill it? Obama did vote against providing medical aid to children who survived an abortion (of any type). he later claimed that he would have been in favor of saving the child if the federal law verbiage (for the health of the mother) was within the same abortion law. He claimed he voted against saving the children for that reason, however, he is also the one who blocked adding the federal clause.
