Do you know if Rush snorted the Hillbilly heroin, skin-popped it or mainlined it?

"Utter nonsense. I'm in and out of a dozen pain clinics and have discussed the subject of Drug Seeking Behavior with more than one of these docs."

If their experiences are different, they need to write it up. I did some contract work for a company who provided treatments for addicts. I read a lot of papers on the subject. Now, granted, the papers on addiction and pain meds mainly focused on opiates. The bulk of the papers by the mid-1990's indicated that pain management drugs, when used for pain, were not addictive. The problem, at least was, that many patients would dose themselves in the anticipation of pain.

That led to addiction for those who were at risk.
