The Dem crowd seems to be frustrated, but they are also energized by all the tension and attention. If the losing candidate would give the winner some real support, they may "heal" whatever it is that ills them, and translate all this energy into a victory in November. However, I suspect that the looser will wish for the other person to lose in the general election, so that they could rub in the "mistake" to the party leadership - and find themselves in a good position to run against McCain in 4 years. Both of them have enormous huge egos.
