Goodness. I would never have imagined anyone could get excited about a celebrity interview on "60 Minutes". Your post made me curious so I looked up the transcript. Not exactly the way you remember it and, in any event, hardly a noteworthy interview unless you're excited about celebrities. cbsnews.com Morley Safer: "Your eloquence, if that’s the word, can get you into deep trouble." Alec Baldwin: "So I don't make the eloquent point so eloquently, is that what you're saying?" Morley Safer: "Or you make them perhaps excessively eloquent, as in your description of Dick Cheney, who you said was a sociopath and a terrorist. Thank you Bruce for sharing your political viewpoints with the readers of this stockboard. I'm sure we all agree with you except those that don't. Should Obama be elected come November, you should not feel humiliated to be an American while you shine somebody else's shoes. Nor if race problems flare up as you fear (hope ?), because you will be in the majority if you are still white. You can hold your head up proudly, punch the clock proudly, and pay your taxes proudly too. But don't give up hope. Maybe Obama will be the next JFK or MLK. We will still have the CIA and the FBI - they will not let you down. But should Edwards become AG and all hope is lost, there's always Paraguay. Say hello to the chimp. wg PS - ¿Habla usted español?
