Henry Waxman is a total disgrace. He has done nothing at all except be a sponge for taxpayer money since he got out of law school.... Not a single company hired him out of college. So he had to work for the government. Any idea how much money he has caused the US Taxpayer by his grandstanding and media stunts, and by having an investigation on nearly everyone who breathes in or about DC... He is just awful. To say nothing about being dangerous. Plus he needs a hair clipper. (I know...that was a catty thing to say, but he just drives me crazy....he even makes Bernie Sanders, Socialist from VT look better, and THAT'S very hard to do!) If I were heading the oil companies or any other company of major consequence, I'd be hiring detectives to see what makes Henry tick... henrywaxman.house.gov sourcewatch.org

Gang, We can see all of the idiocy of the coming government but can we offer a vision that is different and can be sold. How can we criticize Democrats on energy when our candidate is supporting cap and trade. How can we criticize Democrats on spending when we spent like drunken sailors. Frankly, we had our chance and blew it. The Republican party needs a new leadership and sadly - at least two years of Democratic rule to find our voice. I despair at the coming of Obama and am appalled by John McCain. It is going to be a tough 2 years. Bob
