Honest - yes, I know liberals whom I consider to be honest people. Many of them honestly believe that anyone with views differing from theirs must have something wrong with their brain.

Open minded? No such luck. Some are capable of grasping differing political views, and maybe even of demonstrating some (fleeting) empathy for them. This ability ordinarily is used for the purpose of coming up with stronger criticisms of those opposing views (g).
