Did you ever see McCain on the flight deck in his jet bombs attached with fire under the fuselage and another jet burning nearby? Very frightening stuff. Some people seem to think that he graduated the Academy, went to flight school, got shot down and that was his entire career.

Even landing on a carrier takes guts.

True to some extent, but his POW experience and military career have groomed him to become CIC of the US military.

Bull! Being a POW did nothing but stress out his mental health. Being a pilot is like driving a complicated bus. Not as much leadership skill as commanding a platoon, or a ship. I'd rather see a man who has shown he can run a large business, as Bush had.
