Only one parcel of land in the entire United States meets the criteria set for the Qualified Forestry Bonds program.

Reminds me of corrupt House Speaker Jim Wright -- managed to insert a provision in a tax bill that exempted a wealthy Tarrant County (Ft. Worth, TX) resident from the estate tax. The provision was something like, "There shall be an exemption from all tax under this title for residents of Tarrant County, Texas who were born on xx/xx/xx and died on xx/xx/xx, where such gross estate exceeds (x) million dollars".

The provision managed to stay in the bill, through the conference and drafting of the committee reports, right until the last minute when it was stripped out. He almost got away with it.
