I just have too much fear for what a leftwing President and Congress will do.

I agree. I have little patience for the "let Obama win to teach the country a lesson" crowd. These people think that we will repeat 1976-1980 with Jimmy Carter and that after waiting a short 4 years, we'll end up with another Reagan and everything will be wonderful. The problem with this view IMO is that the damage that can be done will not be limited to just 4 years of pain and the potential recovery might take decades if even possible. The courts alone will be impacted for 25 years or more. For some of us, we are talking about the rest of our lives.

What angers me is the current situation, where an unqualified left-wing candidate has a 50% or better chance of winning, is mostly due to the Republican "leadership" in Congress. So called "conservatives" in Congress have been busy destroying the Republican brand and paving the road for the situation that we are currently in. Obama owes the Republicans in Congress a big Thank You.
