Sadly, I agree. But you know what....this is about survival and money. Emotions have no place in the financial markets. Too many times people use emotions over brains. Like when Grasso was telling folks after 911, "be patriotic, buy stocks". Instead of something sensible like, "be patriotic, buy bonds, help fund the war". And then Bush cuts taxes and tells folks to go out and spend, LOL.

It would be nice to get a dip in oil....but if someone is in it for the long term....it probably won't matter anyway.

'I heard Bush say the other day that the solution was to drill ANWR. LOL, I truly wonder what color the sky is on his planet. You could drill every wildlife refuge in the country and the best possible results would be something like a few weeks of national oil consumption.'

I hear there is a ton of oil in the GOM and Alaska..problem is by the time they finally get it into your local gas station it will be 2018..what to do till then? All a political game of chess we all know but the 'far right' in charge from 2001-06 has done an incredible amount of damage to this country between the war, oil interests, skyrocketing deficits, record wealth disparity, denying global warming and hands off approach to banking oversight during the housing mania
