The biggest gas savers are:

- Drive in a way that makes it less necessary to use brakes.

- Always keep your car in a gear, don't use neutral, most cars waste a lot of energy in neutral that is only converted into wasted heat

- Don't accelerate too hard, your engine is most likely not optimized for it

- Maintain your car well and keep noticing if something is not as it should be

And if you're really crazy about saving gas:

- Drive when it's hot outside, it will reduce wind friction (actually this means a lot)

- Reduce your cars weight by not driving around with luggage etc.
