The Spok-a-loo Review yesterday had an article about Joseph Duncan, the confessed murderer of the Wolf Lodge family a couple years ago. Apparently he is facing sentencing hearings, and has demanded to act as his own attorney. The judge held up the hearings to determine whether Duncan is 'competent.' Apparently he drifts in and out of competency. Meanwhile a 300 person jury pool has been held up with nothing to do but eat donuts and drink coffee on the taxpayers. The judge finally told them to go take their vacations while he decides on Duncan's competency.
