hilligas

what is the difference between you sending your son off to the ME to die vs. an Arab doing the same? Both sons die. The reason doesn't matter. The fact that both your sons died does.

I find it amusing that anyone that doesn't take the staunch conservative viewpoint is automatically labelled a wacko liberal...ala Rush Limbaugh.

What is truly amazing is that the vast majority of this country still falls into the forgotten category of being "moderate"....yet its a "label" we rarely hear anymore.

By being a "moderate" I define that as an individual that feels some conservative as well as liberal concepts are acceptable. We've literally become a country polarized to extremes more due to the labelling from the media than reality.

Do I think GW is grossly inept and out of touch with reality...yep....but that doesn't mean I condemn all conservative values. Nor does it make me a wacko liberal. Do I think some liberal viewpoints go way too far...sure. But that doesn't make me a right wing zealot, either.

The media seems to feed on this "labelling" and I am afraid it is doing far more harm to our political system than most people realize.
