As Jimmy Rogers said, there is no debt attached to the commodities so it can't be a bubble. Straight up supply and demand. I saw this article on GLD which is about to start listing some options at the end of the month. Could generate some interest. I just started a position in GLD today after the turnaround in gold the past 2 days.

I read in the New Yorker last night that 1/3 of the worldwide live catch of fish is turned into fish meal as feed for Salmon farms. The writer likened it to feeding cows to lions and tigers.

The worst thing is the terrible quality of "Atlantic" salmon as it's euphemistically called and the 'toxin laden grease' (as the writer put it) on the skin.

Eating lower on the food chain would end the worldwide problem... for now, although I'm not ordering a bag of insects just yet <g>

I agree. It's not a bubble, but increased price levels could be temporary.
