Because, if the last two days are any illustration, the Reps will use it. No matter how much it continues to degrade political discourse. I have a fondness for words. That's because I have a fondness for ideas and words represent ideas. I disapprove of words being misused, particularly perfectly good and useful words being turned into battering rams. But I disapprove more of banishing words that we either don't like or that are irritatingly misused. Pox on both.
