This one was even better than the opening remarks, Volker addressing Paul's (veiled charges) that the Fed should be abolished, Volker implying that it's necessary but needs to behave considerably more responibly than what we've seen recently. All this is implied, but it's there. Along with a great discussion of how moral hazard has distorted the role of lenders......

If we can't have Paul, at least let's get Volker back in a position of substance....at least he believes there IS a problem with the Fed <NG>
