We don't make much anymore. We've outsourced industry. Didn't have to be that way. 25 years or so ago, whenever it was, Detroit could have embraced catalytic converters, instead of stalling; the Japanese and Germans went ahead and did it, and stole our market. Which hurts steel. Which hurts.... Happened with alt en, too. At least GE is in the hunt.

I want to replace my water system. I was thinking about doing the whole thing, but maybe I'll just replace the drip in the orchard. Doesn't weather as well as regular poly pipe.
I'm wondering about the availability and cost in the future. May as well do it this year. Might replace the valves, too. Or just buy extra. Just in case.
