Obama is new at this. He's made some rookie mistakes, but he's a really FAST study. He's WEARING flag pins now! ( I thought he should have just made a suit out of flags, like Uncle Sam! ) In all previous races, the (R) have had HUGE money advantages. In this one, they'll be at a massive money disadvantage. Obama is on track to raise a billion dollars, where McSame is struggling to get even normally reliable contributors to throw their money away. I know that rednecks like Dave here have had the idea implanted that Obama is some sort of "secret" Mooslim (the worst kind!), but Obama has lots of cash and lots of time to try to set them straight. All that said, capturing the truly stupid shouldn't be his goal. Just to not completely alienate them. Let the (R)'s HAVE the truly stupid.

Obama and his Wife have both said and done some pretty DUMB stuff. Would it have been so hard for Obama to glance to his left or just look around and see how most of the people were putting their hand over their hearts during the National Anthem? Was it SO tough to just PUT ON the flag pin? Isn't Michele Obama bright enough to know that you shouldn't IMPLY that you've never been "proud" of the United States UNTIL your husband was running for President? How DUMB was it for Barack to STEREOTYPE 100 million working white people at a PUBLIC gathering????? Wearing a flag pin is a false idol and should not be considered an assessment of one's patriotism. If we are to change, then we need to stop pretending wearing a flag pin makes you a good citizen even as your party raids the US Treasury while puting the country into serious debt and a screwed up war.
