In general I agree. In this case, however, what we have are several scenarios - and none of them is significantly more likely to occur than any other. None of them is really helpful to a trader at this juncture. My main point was that - indeed - maybe the best thing for a trader at this juncture is to "freeze" - and do nothing, until one of the things we discussed becomes reality -- and a setup with a good risk / reward takes shape.

As I said, I will put up a trade on gold, but only after this conundrum shows its true face.

Can you elaborate: why is that 1-2 i-ii count too extreme?
and other than this being a good place for the HUI advance to be rejected, why are you not long miners: why not following your own idea?
(every time HUI has had the combination of extreme oversold relative to Gold and the weekly stoch turns up from beneath 20 we have ahd huge rallies (albeit only 5 instances in the bull)
