I am certainly for preventing nukes from landing on our shore, but attacking country that did nothing to us, is a pretty damned stupid way to prevent anything. Use your head. Why didn't W pursue Bin Laden instead being distracted by oil opportunities in Iraq? He, and Cheney, screwed up badly. They will go down in history as the worst leadership duo this country has ever had. They have been worse than bad, downright destructive.

The Muslim extremists need to be fought with discretion, without inciting millions more of them at the same time, isn't that obvious?

Inspection and intelligence will be more effective than occupation. There's your plan.

How about W's energy plan? Which now consists of begging the Saudi's for more production. Begging! How embarrassing.

Canada and the US have lots of natural gas, do we see any programs led by W to get us into natural gas powered vehicles? No. We have lots of coal, do we see a major push for converting coal to diesel? No. Invading and begging doesn't get you very far in the long run. Of course we know that your hero's ability to plan and execute is about as bad as it gets.

BTW, if we make ourselves energy independent, we'll have a lot less exposure in the Middle East. We are being dragged down by our dependence on them, the sooner we say good riddance, the better off we'll be.

"What is your plan?"

First, let's remove the threat to our overseas bases: lets close the furthest outlying of our 700+ bases in 130+ countries. Then, let's stop selling arms to the rest of the world and abandon our role as the leading arms merchant in the world. But, I gotta warn you, this will damage our domestic economy big time because it is dependent on arms manufacturing. You can do some real damage with a policy of peace. Your life will never be the same.
