>> I am glad it makes a difference in your mind but it really doesn't change my key premise:

It makes a difference only in the context that you, who is chronically condescending toward others about their history knowledge, appears to have a rather huge gap in your own.

Chamberlain started the war a few months before Churchill took over. Hence, the gap you bring up is a minor one no matter how you try to make it otherwise.

It makes a difference only in that perhaps you'll think twice before questioning anyone ELSE's knowledge of a subject.

I will question your knowledge every minute of the day. I don't think you are educated enough to be dispensing advise on these subjects nor competent enough to even engage someone.

You may even think twice before ridiculing someone for something you watched on Christ Matthews' show, given that what he missed was a much smaller than what YOU missed.

See.......this is how off base you are........appeasement was/is the central issue to this whole argument and not who declared war with Germany.
