What he can claim is that living in Hawaii, hopefully gave him an appreciation for people of many cultural backgrounds.

I have been here seven years. To me, Hawaii is an American culture, run by ethnic Japanese. Whites are a tolarated minority, and Samoans are on the bottom of the heap. What Obama didn't learn here is how Blacks and Latinos mix in, because we just don't have any.

To be blunt and concise, he is nothing more than an empty suit in regard to foreign relations experience.

He has been very fortunate to co-opt the professorial elite and a good quantity of young voters. The blacks and the unions were a given.

His VP selection and the Fall debates should be telling assuming clinton doesn't somehow eck him out the candidacy.
