One thing for sure this will be an election issue. Virginia is about 80% opposed to the redefining of the concept of marriage and the family. Virginia is one of the states that the Democrats want to win. Obama has the endorsement of Governor Kaine and former Gov. Doug Wilder who is now the mayor of Richmond, Va. our Capitol. They also want West Virginia------West Virginians don't tolerate fools -------so think the Dems and their nominee will have a hard time getting candidates who support California's recent ruling approving Gay Marriage elected in West Virginia. Yes, the corruption and the Roman Baths were part of the decline and fall of the Roman Empire. mj
