Because he left America and needed to make a good reason for it, so he pretends America is always wrong. It was his decision. Losing his country made him sick inside. So he pretends to hate it.

There's some great cities there NYC (hot dogs!), Boston (great beans), Chicago (unbeatable pizza). It's just some of the population I don't have too much of a liken' to... P.s. why is it even the famous Met. Opera puts on "cheesy" productions.
