He certainly was lamenting the "corporate influence" on universities - which is strange, since the corporate influence is considered by almost everyone who isn't a liberal arts major to be the POINT of universities.

It's in the liberal/socialist template. Corporations are bad, govt is good.

Bastions of liberalism - the universities of today, should have more corporate influence so its graduates aren't struggling to count my change at McDonalds or spending their free time posting on SI about Churchill declaring war on Germany.
