Maybe the rooster has been de-voiced? Remember that buffalo/lion video? I was telling the kids about it, and was given these in return... Syracuse heard noises one night, and went out to find a raccoon going thru his garbage and called his dobie to chase it off. Looks again and sez "Whoops, that's a bear leaning into the can; stop, Sam". Brer Bear backed up, as did the dog. Then the bear walked over to the fence, put one arm on the post, and vaulted over, just like somebody in a cop movie. His wife was with her folks, trailing a mountain lion one time, on horseback. Lion thought it would be fun to hunt them and circled back. First they knew was when it bolted by the pack mule and garbed a dawg. The mule picked the lion up by the scruff of the neck and proceeded to pound it against the ground until it was dead. Dawg was fine.
