The point is, I will never understand the problem at the level scientists do. And I doubt many shouting DOOM! or HOAX! do either. I tried reading Sawyer's paper from thirty years ago: "Man-made carbon dioxide and the 'greenhouse' effect". That predicted the rise in temperature, but I don't have the training or knowledge to even begin to understand it's finer points. I also read Ponder the Maunder, and rebuttals to it. And I tell you truthfully that I could not participate in that debate. If you can, Kudos. We are only able to play politics with what others truly understand. Dan D.
