There is not a President's wife and family that hasn't been commented on in history during campaigns-----this is as it should be. Obama himself wrote about his deceased family and his background making millions on a story that has been romanticized and partially fictionalized. Now, he wants Americans to consider that deceased family--- but not to consider the living family with whom he lives and has conversations on a daily basis? A wife, a lover, brothers, sisters, are all fair for commenting on and most especially when they join the campaign as a spokesman for the candidate.
