I have no idea about the legalities. I do know, since I give as often as I can, the body needs about 2 months to replace the single pint they take for a donation. One of the largest blood banks in the nation is Bonfils Blood Bank here in Denver. I have to show my ID card each time and afterward they give me the earliest date I can give in the future. It's something like 57 or 58 days, minimum. I have heard of people selling their blood, but they can kill themselves by doing it too often. I think they can give plasma more frequently, but I don't even know what that is.
