Even in the face of Nancy Reagan's pleas to advance the basic research that may eventually advance treatment for conditions like her husband's, George held to His Conservative Moral High Ground...(just a bit of irony in that one)..

The solution is to allow the South to reinstate slavery and take away the women's right to vote. That might calm conservatives down enough for the rest of the country to move forward.

It's true, equal rights for all dramatically energized the conservative movement. We've had 40 years (minus the Clinton interlude) of conservative mis-government as a result, with disastrous results.

Give them their slaves, guns, and Bibles, and maybe they'll go away.
