I knew some moon shiners who lived in the hills of Clay County Kentucky about 40 years ago. They don't tolerate outsiders well, especially the government coming to tell them how they will fix everything. But they also ate squirrels, which are nothing but rats with tails, so their opinions didn't mean much to me. Fun group of people though.
