That's why I favor lowering corporate tax rates to max 30%. But when I wrote "unrealistic" I meant from a legislative point of view. You still have to get a measure passed. How many Senators this year will campaign on a platform that includes lower corp tax rates? How many did so in 2006? And, how many in the House? AFAIK GWB hasn't proposed lowering the current corp rates. He thinks individual rates are more important, maybe because individuals vote and corporations don't. That's short-sighted IMO. And why we need a President who understands economics.
