>>You got me, I don't have a clue. Obama doesn't want us talking about his wife, that much is clear.<<

MM -

So that would be the one thing on the list that might be true. I must say that I can't fault the man for not wanting people to attack his wife, even if she is out campaigning for him. Seems like he's just being a loyal husband.

All the other things on Rush's list have been discussed at great length, and I don't know who it is that is supposed to be saying that we're not supposed to talk about them.

That's the big problem I have with Rush. He'll take one statement from the most radical nutjob he can find on the left, and then say, "This is what liberals think." He does that consistently.

The equivalent would be if I said that all conservatives want us to invade all Arab countries, kill their leaders, and convert all the inhabitants to Christianity. The fact that Anne Coulter said that doesn't mean all conservatives support that view.

I don't think that it is fair game to bring family members
into the campaign... However, I realize that Michele brought her criticism on when she mispoke.

McCain's wife whom I thought was a poster child wife the way she stood behind him all the time was an issue for me and then someone whom I forget wrote to me all about the great things she has done with her money to make me respect her very much.

But whatever I think isn't going to happen because in today's political arena everything is fair game even though I think it unfair.

Isn't it a shame that the whole run for a position as leader of our country becomes so darn contentious and bitter.
