No kidding. And note that Intel is not arguing that it is controversial. But they are trying to claim that it is a novel concept.

They must be plenty worried about this.

Doesn't change a thing I said, except for the legal precedent.

AMD wants the courts to decide (i.e. government) what the free market already determines efficiently. One can argue that the market isn't truly free, but the "remedies" AMD proposes would likely be worse, as it rewards mediocrity and punishes success.
