I see the whole issue of wearing a lapel pin of the American Flag, the denouncing of Michele for making a statement that was well intended but came out poorly so that it got dissected as so much sophomoric bull.... The kids in high school play these games but as adults I would hope that we could rise above the petty. And afterward all those supposed patriotic nuts saying, I have always been proud of America.. Is there not one time that one could be more proud. Just as there are times when one is not

It's just like whose business is it where the candidates go to church or whether they are Jewish,Catholic etc. It's all nonsense. Political trivia to be able to rouse the ire of some of the masses...and garner votes. I remember as a kid having fights with friends as to my house is bigger than yours.

When are we going to grow up and look at issues that effect us and not who is more patriotic..
