"Well, I stirred up the hornets." So now we're insects. Great. How about instead you say "I, Many Moose, should not call people names. People don't like that. If I want to have a discussion with people, even if I want to criticize their candidate, it would be better if I didn't call them names while I do that, lest people think I'm just trying to make trouble."

Oh gosh, I didn't mean to sting. Just to pinch a little, maybe. And mostly because the response to you and Bearcatbob has been so good. I have heard privately from many who think it's really wonderful to get civil and be able to talk about the differences without the intentional attempts to get people upset. I don't want that to stop. I just thought the Rush thing was not quality. I am often unhappy with stuff from Huffington too. And there really just isn't a comfortable place to do this anywhere else. Not if you truly abhor personal insults as I do. So here, have an antihistamine.
