The point is that Arab countries have not progressed along with the rest of the world, I think that is clear, I've posted statistics as to their patents and the fact that almost NO books are translated to Arabic each year, and you have no explanation other than, "800 years ago they were really on top of it". Sorry, that just doesn't cut it. If you're going to make the case, make it. Otherwise, you're wasting your own time.
