Bush is not as charismatic as Obama. I'm very distrustful of charismatic figures because a lot of them are scoundrels.

I don't mean to imply that pertains to Obama. It pertains to what I've observed in the celebrities in the popular media, films, cult leaders, and so forth.

Charisma just makes me nervous.

I'd rather have an inarticulate person operating on clearly defined principles than one who could talk the spots off a tiger even if he's got a good line.

Oh, tigers don't have spots.

My gut tells me that it is because of his friendship with all the oil people but that is because I have a negative impression of Bush to begin with.

That's an honest comment that I can respect.
