If I were forced to argue for Obama's position based on your poor summation of it, I'd probably have a hard time doing it.

But it's not an issue I really want to argue. I think the root cause of the problem is two-fold. One, there is very little economic opportunity south of the border. Two, there are a lot of employers in the US who either can't find enough workers to do fill their jobs, or not enough workers willing to work for what they want to pay.

You asked what Obama's stand on that issue was, as if it was some huge mystery. I gave you a link to his own statements.

It's not a problem that lends itself to any kind of solution, much less an easy one. I haven't heard any politician offer anything better than what Obama says.
