Yes, I remember those days of the 70's...in many ways, they seemed like my early years....we were taught to turn off lights, not run showers for a long time, to take care of food, not to waste anything...etc. The difference between my early years and the 70's, is early years we did those things on our own, and the 70's were government suggested. Now it appears as if Obama wants government to mandate and demand those things.... He obviously is a young man and doesn't know of the old values of "Save for a Rainy Day"...It is new found news to him, and others like him.... Government doesn't need to mandate anything. Government needs to back off...and not give out extra money for anything. People will get the message all by themselves.
