Every election year, we read stories of "lifelong Republicans" who've decided to leave the party because its become so mean or something.

Well, I'm a descendent of generations of Democrats who will never vote for a Democratic Presidential candidate again. My parents voted Democrat all their life but crossed over and voted for Bush last time. The fact is the the leftwing took over the Democratic party a few decades ago and Democrats who can't stomach the liberalism have been abandoning the party ever since.

There are millions like us.

Look at the last election or the recent special election in MS - the new Democrats who won generally ran as conservatives on issues. But the Democratic leadership in Congress though are all old dinasour lefties.
